RCB MiniMoto Rebrands to "RCB MotoKidz" for 2026 Season

SEPANG, MALAYSIA – ZK Racing, the official organizer of Malaysia’s premier grassroots rider development program, has officially announced a strategic rebranding. Effective immediately, the RCB MiniMoto Championship will be known as the RCB MotoKidz Championship.

Aligning with the Global "Moto" Hierarchy

The transition to RCB MotoKidz is a calculated move to align the championship with the international motorsport ladder. By adopting the "Moto" prefix, the series integrates seamlessly into the established pathway used by world-class championships. This move mirrors the nomenclature used in elite European and international racing, including:

MotoKidz: The foundation (Ages 6–9)

MotoMini: (Formerly MiniGP)

Moto4 Asia Cup: (Formerly Asia Talent Cup)

Moto3 Junior / Moto2 / MotoGP

This branding provides young riders, sponsors, and fans with a clearer understanding of the progression required to reach the world championship stage.

Strengthening the Motorsport Talent Pipeline

Title sponsor RCB remains the driving force behind the series. Since its inception in 2025, RCB's commitment to nurturing elite talent from a primary school age has bolstered the national motorsport ecosystem.

The 2026 season of the RCB MotoKidz Championship will feature five high-octane rounds, running as a support class for the FIM MotoMini Malaysia series. The season is set to kick off in May 2026, specifically targeting children aged 6 to 9 years old.

"The rebranding represents more than just a name change; it reflects a long-term vision to establish a clearer, more consistent, and internationally competitive development structure." — ZK Racing Official Statement

Why This Matters for the Sport

By focusing on the "MotoKidz" demographic, ZK Racing and RCB are ensuring that the fundamental skills of race craft and technical discipline are instilled early. This structured pathway is designed to produce riders who are not only fast but are also prepared for the professional demands of European and World Championship racing.

As a vital foundation within the two-wheel talent ecosystem, the RCB MotoKidz Championship is where the next generation of professional racers begins their journey.
